Oliver Brett is a performance designer based in East Anglia, UK.
Oliver graduated from Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama with a BA (Hons) in Design for Performance. He specialises in set, costume and puppet design for the theatre.
My experience as a dancer, director and choreographer means that I engage with theatrical design not just as a visual artist but also as a performer.
I’m fascinated by spatial dynamics, the relationship of the performer to the space defining the vocabulary of the design. By stripping back everything that is not essential I intend to bring a sharp focus to character and story, casting the audience as an active participant in the construction of the narrative.
